NoobProof has a list of services. Each service can be allowed or blocked. You can also selectively allow or block specified hosts or subnets. You can add or remove services from the list, and you can create new services.
Very easy, just follow the 5 steps how-to in the application help.
You can also tune bandwidth, manage black lists and create self-configuration tools called injectors.
The first time you launch NoobProof the Wizard will help you configuring the Mac OS X firewall.

• NoobProof e' uno strumento per la configurazione del firewall integrato ipfw. E' semplice da utilizzare e facilmente configurabile.
Si presenta come una tabella nella quale sono elencati alcuni servizi. Per ogni servizio e' possibile scegliere se renderlo disponibile o bloccarlo per tutti oppure in modo selettivo aggiungendo un elenco di computer o reti da abilitare o disabilitare.
E' possibile aggiungere o togliere servizi dalla lista. Si possono scegliere nuovi servizi da un elenco predefinito, oppure creare servizi personalizzati. Seguite la procedura in 5 passi descritta nella sezione 'aiuto' dell'applicazione. NoobProof e' una applicazione freeware e open-source. E' possibile effettuare piccole donazioni utilizzando paypal.
